Description
General Definition of Work
Position responsible for officiating of youth and adult basketball leagues and tournaments offered by the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department up to and including:- Men’s Basketball League
- Girls & Boys Youth Basketball Leagues
- Girls & Boys Summer Junior High & High School Basketball Leagues
- Jr. NBA Basketball League
Essential Functions
- Be at assigned game sites at least fifteen minutes before scheduled game time.
- Conduct all pre and post game duties (meet team captains/coaches, rule interpretations, game summary sheets).
- Officiate games and enforce the rules of the game.
- Ensure the safety of all participants.
- Secure hazardous-free playing area.
- Conduct yourself in a respectful, confident, and secure manner.
