General Definition of Work
Position responsible for officiating of youth and adult volleyball leagues and tournaments offered by the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department up to and including:

• Adult Coed Sand Volleyball League
• Adult Sand / Indoor Volleyball League
• Adult Indoor Coed Volleyball League
• Junior High Summer Volleyball League
• S*M*A*S*H* Volleyball
• Fall Youth Volleyball Tournament
• Various Volleyball Tournaments

• Be at assigned game sites at least fifteen minutes before scheduled game time.
• Conduct all pre and post game duties (coin toss, meet team captains, rule interpretations, game summary sheets).
• Officiate matches and enforce the rules of the game.
• Keep score on a flip scoreboard.
• Ensure the safety of all participants.
• Secure hazardous-free playing area.
• Conduct yourself in a respectful, confident, and secure manner.
