The City of Cape Girardeau is seeking qualified applicants for potential employment in the position of part-time Jail Control Room Operator.

• On the date of employment, applicants must: Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and not have any convictions for felonies.
• Applicants selected to participate in the hiring process will be required to complete an oral interview. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Finalists will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen.
• The available positions are part-time 3 pm - 11 pm with some flexibility of hours ranging from about 12 to 28 hours per week.
